Miami International Airport (MIA) moves more cargo to and from the western hemisphere than any other airport--more than Orlando, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa, and JFK airports combined. SuperShuttle service is available to MIA from all parts of Miami. There are also numerous bus and train services from the airport to all areas of the state. Taxis are available from all arrivals areas; the fare to downtown Miami is around US$20. Miami International Airport features numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and fast food chains available 24 hours. Dozens of shops, including duty-free, are available. The airport also has ATMs, bureaux de change, barber shop/hair salon, chapel, a health club, an art gallery and a rooftop swimming pool. MIA is undergoing a $4 billion remodeling to their facilities, including adding a fourth runway to carry additional flights.
Need a cheap Miami Airports flight to the area? Several budget airlines fly into the region's airports. Southwest, the granddaddy of them all, operates several flights daily into Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood as well as into Palm Beach International Airport. Newer competitors JetBlue Airways and Song fly daily into Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach as well.
